Many shipping companies, yards, and equipment suppliers are suffering losses due to the impact on the shipping industry of the sudden and rapid outbreak of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Albion Marine, being a Canadian company with an international footprint, hasn't been affected by travel restrictions:
- Most of our engineers are Canadian and other passport holders with no travel restrictions.
- Albion Chinese local representatives are attending vessels in many yards and ports in China without restrictions or quarantine.
- Albion personnel is attending vessels in EU, Canada, USA, Singapore, India, South America and Middle East without restrictions.
Albion Marine has implemented a strict travel protocol for our personnel. We are fully compliant with recommendations by WHO, Flag State authorities, Port State authorities, clients and control regimes.
