Albion Marine Solutions has extensive experience with Scrubbers (Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems) retrofits. Albion Marine conducted an extensive research, technical and commercial feasibility study to recommend the best solution to “ALP Maritime Services” vessels which includes ALP striker, ALP Center, ALP Guard, ALP Winger, ALP Defender and forward vessels to comply with the upcoming IMO amendment to Regulation 14 of MARPOL Annex VI. We made recommendations for the best possible installation for their vessels based on our research. The systems were deemed feasible based on space, power requirements, commercial and basic technical information obtained from the manufacturers.

Most major scrubber makers are members of the Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems Association. They are involved in developing, designing, and final installed configuration and design approval of exhaust gas cleaning systems to meet IMO's current and future emissions regulations and where regional and national authorities enforce additional applicable regulations. Albion Marine Solutions has already studied scrubbers of major Scrubber makers in detail and can install and advise vessel owners in a short period of time, which Scrubber will be the optimal solution for your vessel to meet the current guidelines. Because no single solution will fit all types of vessels, it is critical to check with manufacturers to see if the technology will meet the needs of a specific vessel.
