GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM SPECIALIST
Description:
Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.
The Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist will establish and maintain a geographic information system for fisheries engineering projects.
The successful candidate will lead, coordinate, and monitors the GIS actitivities; coordinate the development o the GIS systems and database according to customer’s goals and objectives; assures the integrity and security of the database.
He/She must be familiar with project execution in fisheries engineering.
The position may require extensive travel within Canada.
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Requirements:
- He/ She must be hold a Technical Diploma or degree in a related field.
- He/ She must have experience of fisheries engineering projects in one or more of the services below:
o Investigation, Inspection, and Report;
o Condition Report;
o Analysis of Project Scope of Work;
o Construction
o Commissioning
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
