Registered Professional Biologist

Description:

Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.

The Registered Professional Biologist will be responsible for completing projects in fisheries engineering services by organizing and controlling project elements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for studying organisms in the oceans, plant life to learn more about their composition, behaviors, and habitats of marine species; they interact with other organism and their environment and the impact of human activities on marine life.

He/ She will conduct research, collect samples and measurements, perform test and experiments and interpret and report his/ her findings

The successful candidate must be familiar with aquaculture, salmonid, water resources, or equivalent services.

The position may require extensive travel within Canada.

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Mandatory requirements:

-          He/ She must be a Registered Professional Biologist with CAB (College of Applied Biology) with between 4 and 10 years of aquaculture, salmonid or equivalent experience.

-          He/ She must have between 10  years of aquaculture, salmonid, water resources, or equivalent experience in one or more of the services below:

o   Analysis of Project Scope of Work;

o   Investigation, Inspection, and Report;

o   Condition Report.

-          Strong written and verbal communication skills.
