INTERMEDIATE ENGINEER
Description:
Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.
The Intermediate Engineer will be responsible for completing projects in fisheries engineering by organizing and controlling project elements
The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the project specifications, reviewing project proposals; completing technical studies, preparing cost estimates; determining project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
He/ She will maintain the project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
He/ She will control the project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
The successful candidate must be familiar with water distribution, biological systems, or aquaculture engineering services.
The position may require extensive travel within Canada.
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Mandatory requirements:
- He/ She must be a P. ENG. (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical) registered with EGBC in a related discipline.
- He/ She must have between 4 and 10 years of engineering or project delivery experience.
- He/ She must have demonstrated professional development and experience in water distribution, biological systems, or aquaculture systems engineering in one or more of the services below:
o Investigation, Inspection, and Report;
o Condition Report;
o Analysis of Project Scope of Work;
o Design Concept;
o Design Development;
o Construction Document, Pre-Tender Construction Cost Estimate, and Project Schedule
o Tender Call, Bid Evaluation and Construction Award
o Construction and Contract Administration
o Post-Construction Warranty Review
o Commissioning
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
