Project/Standing Offer Manager

Description:

Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.

The Project/Standing Offer Manager will be responsible for managing the fisheries engineering projects, including adherence to project scope, time, and budget.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of work and deliverables; assigning appropriate types and levels of human resources; maintaining clear and consistent communication between the Project Manager and all other appropriate parties; managing project risk; procurements of additional equipment or services as required to complete the project. He/She will provide technical advice and senior technical review.

He/ She must be familiar with fisheries engineering services.

The position may require extensive travel within Canada.

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Mandatory requirements:

-          He/ She must be a P. ENG. (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical) registered with EGBC in a related discipline.

-          He/ She must have 10 or more years of engineering and project delivery experience related to fisheries engineering services as follows:

o   Investigation, Inspection, and Report;

o   Condition Report;

o   Analysis of Project Scope of Work;

o   Design Concept;

o   Design Development;

o   Construction Document, Pre-Tender Construction Cost Estimate, and Project Schedule;

o   Tender Call, Bid Evaluation and Construction Award;

o   Construction and Contract Administration;

o   Post-Construction Warranty Review;

o   Commissioning.

-          He/She must have excellent project management skills and the ability to work unsupervised and lead a large team

-          Strong written and verbal communications skills
