Position: Manager, Marine Terminal Construction

Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.
Albion Marine Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Marine Terminal Construction Manager to provide site supervision and project support services. The Marine Terminal Construction Manager will be responsible for assisting the Terminal Engineering Team in the planning, building and maintaining ferries’ terminal infrastructure.
The successful candidate must have expertise in the following area:
- Design Development: preliminary design reviews (considering constructability, cost estimating, scheduling), preconstruction site supervision, anticipate possible regulatory requirements or issues, input on industry specific construction methodologies and provide early input onsite specific constructability challenges.
- Construction services: onsite construction supervision at ferries terminals, fabrication inspections in contractor shops, resolve the issues on site, communication.
He/ She must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with providing construction support services for ferries’ terminal infrastructure.
Familiarity with construction project processes, purchasing best practices and typical contract language.
Working knowledge of marine and civil projects and environmental best practices.
He/She must have excellent project management skills and strong written and verbal communications skills.
Basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, Photo Editing Software
The position may require travel within Canada’s West Coast.
