Engineering Technologist
Description:
Albion Marine Solutions provides project management, engineering, consultancy, and conversion services to maritime and offshore industries worldwide.
The Engineering Technologist will provide technical support and services in the field of fisheries engineering.
The successful candidate will prepare engineering deliverables to specified standards; assist engineers in designing, developing, testing, or manufacture industrial machinery, consumer projects, or other equipment; prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates; resolve technical problems; prepare reports and bid documentation;
The successful candidate must be familiar with project execution in fisheries engineering.
The position may require extensive travel within Canada.
Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Mandatory requirements:
- He/ She must be an Engineering Technologist registered with ASTTBC in a related discipline (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or other relevant area) with more than 4 years of engineering or project delivery experience related to fisheries engineering services as follows:
o Investigation, Inspection, and Report;
o Condition Report;
o Analysis of Project Scope of Work;
o Design Concept;
o Design Development;
o Construction Document, Pre-Tender Construction Cost Estimate, and Project Schedule
o Tender Call, Bid Evaluation and Construction Award
o Construction and Contract Administration
o Post-Construction Warranty Review
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
